French companies from the Grand-Est region, specializing in sectors such as environment, energy, infrastructure, construction, and sustainable urban development, are set to embark on a business prospecting mission to Morocco, recognized as a strategic market, from March 31 to April 2.
According to the mission's organizers, Morocco stands as a leader in Africa's energy transition, boasting significant investments in renewable energies, energy efficiency, and sustainable infrastructure.
In the mission's presentation note, they underline Morocco's stable institutional and economic environment, which is conducive to foreign businesses. The country offers attractive incentive policies and dynamic public-private partnerships.
Among the promising projects highlighted are those supported by international donors, specifically in the fields of water, waste management, sustainable construction, green mobility, and smart cities.
The organizers also point out Morocco's strategic geographical position and its numerous trade agreements, which establish it as a gateway to Africa and a hub for sub-Saharan Africa.
Furthermore, the organizers recall the projects launched in preparation for the 2030 FIFA World Cup. These include the construction and renovation of stadiums, upgrades to transport infrastructure (including roads, airports, and railway networks), and improvements to tourist facilities.
Organized by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCI International) of the Grand-Est, as part of Team France Export, the mission offers targeted B2B meetings. These are designed to facilitate connections with prospective clients, distributors, importers, or Moroccan partners, thereby enhancing their development in this strategic market.
