Morocco FM Bourita holds talks with AU Commission Chair in Rabat

Foreign Minister Nasser Bourita held talks on Wednesday in Rabat with African Union Commission Chairperson Mahmoud Ali Youssouf, focusing on strengthening cooperation between Morocco and the AU.

The meeting, held on the sidelines of Youssouf’s visit for the UNECA conference in Tangier, also addressed peace and security issues, development initiatives, and regional integration.

The AU official praised Morocco’s role in advancing Africa’s development agenda and welcomed its re-election to a third term on the Peace and Security Council.
