Jamal Belahrach, a prominent member of the Higher Council for Education, Training, and Scientific Research (CSEFRS) and the president of the House of the Diaspora, unveils his latest essay, titled «Réinventons-nous !» (Let's Reinvent Ourselves!). In this thought-provoking work, he calls for an «authentic and patriotic leadership dedicated to forging a new social contract.» Co-published by Sochepress Editions and the Council of the Moroccan Community Abroad (CCME), the book targets «public and private decision-makers, ambitious youth, and Moroccans living abroad.»

Drawing from 27 years of insights, Belahrach asserts, «Morocco doesn't lack talent; it lacks leaders: genuine leaders who can inspire trust.» He emphasizes the urgent need for «patriotic leaders who can provide purpose and foster conditions for inclusive prosperity.» In this compelling five-part argument, Belahrach offers a «diagnosis of contemporary Morocco,» delves into «the foundations of authentic leadership» and «leadership in action,» and outlines «a Moroccan model to construct,» along with addressing «national priorities.»

The book culminates with «an open letter to Moroccan youth: a message in a bottle, written with the hope that someone, somewhere, will read it and be moved to act,» as stated in a press release. Following his previous works, «Envie de Maroc» and «Toujours envie de Maroc, malgré tout», Jamal Belahrach presents his third essay, a call to those who still believe—or wish to believe once more—that a different Morocco is achievable.

This latest publication builds on the author's extensive reflections, stemming from over two decades of dedication to «advocating for the transformation of education, the job market, and management in Morocco.» Jamal Belahrach is the founder and former president of ManpowerGroup Morocco, a former vice-president of the General Confederation of Moroccan Enterprises (CGEM), and the head of its social commission.
