Spanish energy group Sampol opens new office in Tangier

The Spanish energy engineering giant Sampol has inaugurated a new office in Tangier, marking a strategic move to bolster its footprint on the African continent and broaden its regional operations.

According to Investing.com, the Mallorca-based company, established in 1934, has already been involved in several projects across Morocco. The opening of this office represents a commitment to deepening its local engagement and serves as a launchpad for further ventures within the kingdom and potential expansion into other African markets.

Sampol highlighted Tangier's strategic appeal, citing its role as a key logistical and industrial center, as well as its proximity to Europe, which enhances its attractiveness for investments and economic activities.

Currently, the company operates in numerous countries across Europe, the Americas, and Africa, with a track record of completing projects in over 25 countries worldwide.
