Google Gemini has become the official technology sponsor of Morocco’s national football team as part of a new partnership aimed at enhancing fan engagement through artificial intelligence, Google announced on Tuesday.
The collaboration will use Gemini’s AI tools to create immersive experiences for supporters and strengthen connections between the Moroccan national team and their global fanbase.
Over the next three months, the partnership will introduce several fan-focused activations powered by Gemini. Supporters will be able to generate custom cheering visuals using Gemini’s text-to-image model «Nano Banana», create team anthems through the «Lyria» text-to-music model, and use AI tools to better understand football rules, analyze match performances, and predict match outcomes.
Google said the initiative reflects its broader commitment to football fans in the Arab world and aims to make the supporter experience «more inclusive and immersive».
