King Mohammed VI has sent a message of congratulations to Moroccan kickboxer Mohamed Touchassie following his crowning as Glory light heavyweight world champion at the «Glory Collision 9» event held in Rotterdam, the Netherlands.
In the message, the King extended his warm congratulations to Touchassie for his achievement and praised the fighter's patriotism and remarkable sporting accomplishment, which enabled him to raise Morocco's flag high on the international stage.
The Sovereign said the title further confirms the strong presence and distinguished performances of Morocco's young champions, particularly members of the Moroccan community living abroad, in combat sports. He noted that such achievements continue to enrich Morocco's sporting record and add to its growing list of world titles.
King Mohammed VI also expressed his hope that the victory would serve as motivation for Touchassie to win further international honors in the future.
Renewing his congratulations, the King wished the fighter continued success and further distinction throughout his promising career, while assuring him of his high solicitude and benevolence.
