The Spanish engineering company Ingedetec, specializing in services for the railway, automotive, and aerospace sectors, has inaugurated a technical office in Tangier. This move, with an initial investment of €230,000, is part of a broader strategy to enhance its international footprint.
This expansion is anticipated to boost the company's global exports by 50% and increase its turnover by 5% in its first year of operations in Morocco.
Based in Barcelona, the firm secured support from ACCIÓ, the Catalan government’s agency for business competitiveness, which provided €80,000 to back its expansion efforts.
Ingedetec delivers engineering solutions to manufacturers and suppliers in the automotive, railway, and aerospace industries, focusing on the design and development of electrical systems, lighting, vehicle components, and batteries.
Founded in 2005, the company plans to recruit six to ten professionals initially and aims to start securing projects in the Moroccan market by 2027.
CEO Juan José Marcos described the Tangier office as «a strategic step towards growth, leveraging Morocco’s advanced industrial ecosystem, and enhancing connections with key sector players».
