Spanish airline Vueling has announced the expansion of its network to Morocco with the launch of four new direct routes, bringing its total number of connections between the two countries to 10 for the summer season.
The new routes are Barcelona–Nador, Barcelona–Fez, Alicante–Tangier and Santiago de Compostela–Marrakech. The Alicante–Tangier service will be the first-ever direct air link between the Spanish city and Morocco.
Barcelona remains Vueling's main hub for flights to Morocco, with up to 12 weekly flights to Tangier during July and August, in addition to regular services to Marrakech. The airline said the expansion offers travelers greater flexibility and more options for short-haul travel between Spain and Morocco.
