Moroccan Royal family reportedly on private holiday in Capri

The Moroccan royal family is spending a private holiday on the Italian island of Capri, according to Italian outlet NapoliToday, which reported that Princess Lalla Salma, Crown Prince Moulay Hassan and Princess Lalla Khadija arrived on Wednesday aboard the Polaris, a high-speed ferry operated by SNAV.

The family was welcomed at the port of Marina Grande by Capri mayor Paolo Falco and local law enforcement officials before heading to the villas where they are expected to stay, the same source reported.

The report says the royals are accompanied by a large security detail, with several vehicles placed at their disposal, and that the municipality has offered logistical support during their stay. It further describes Capri as being under heightened security for the visit.
