A new retirement plan for Moroccans living in the UAE

Abu Dhabi Retirement Pensions and Benefits Fund is organizing end of April open days in Dubai and Abu Dhabi at the benefit of Moroccans living in the United Arab Emirates.These days will be dedicated to the launch of a bilateral agreement between the Ministry in Charge of Moroccans Living Abroad and Migration Affairs, the Moroccan Pension Fund and the UAE Pension and Retirement Fund to provide a retirement plan for Moroccans residing in the UAE.

The symposium will take place in Abu Dhabi from the 21st to the 25th of April in the Millennium hotel. For Dubai, Moroccans will get to attend the event from the 26th to the 29th of the same month at the Gloria hotel, as a press release indicates.

The campaign aims to raise awareness regarding the services that the national pension fund offers for Moroccans living abroad. It is also an opportunity to introduce the facilities and procedures available for these people to register and have access to a retirement plan.

For the record, the Moroccan Pension Fund is a public institution that works on providing social welfare in the Kingdom. It manages benefits and pensions on behalf of several public sector entities. According to the latest statistics provided by the Moroccan Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation 16,724 Moroccans live in Abu Dhabi while 21,221 are currently residing in Dubai.
