A Chinese series was broadcasted yesterday for the first time on the Moroccan TV channel 2M, Xinhua news agency reports. Mohammed Ghazali, Secretary-general of the Ministry of Culture and Communication and Liu Qibao Head of the Central Propaganda department of the Communist party of China attended the launch of the series entitled «A happy life».
China Radio International (RCI) president Wang Gengnian and 2M managing director Salim Cheikh signed yesterday an agreement that allows the Moroccan TV channel to broadcast Chinese movies and series. Wang Gengnian insisted that this step will reinforce the bilateral relations in the field of media between the two countries. The following partnership was initiated at the Sino-African cooperation Forum and maintained through several visits.
Salim Cheikh, for his part, stated that this agreement would bring together the culture of both Morocco and China emphasizing that the emergence of Chinese movies and series will help the Moroccan audience discover the Asian country. Moreover, he expressed his hopes that this partnership will boost the Sino-Moroccan relations in the sector of media.
