The Arabi-Islamic US summit : Nasser Bourita represents Morocco

More than 50 Arab and Muslim nation leaders will join Donald Trump today 21st of May in Ryad for the first Arab-Islamic US summit. Nasser Bourita, the Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation is in Saudi Arabia to represent Morocco.

Bourita was received by King Salman after joining the participants in a waiting room as broadcasted on the Saudi tv channel Al Arabiya.

During the event, the Saudi sovreign has dedicated a good amount of time to Nasser Bourita speaking to him more than the other representatives which foreshadows the good relations that tie Morocco to the Saudi kingdom.

The summit will be inaugurated by the speech of Donald Trump, which holds the objective of forming a new alliance led by Saudi Arabia and the USA to fight against terrorism. It will also discuss ways of collaborating to put an end to the Islamic State in Iraq and Syria.
