Milk and Dates is a sketch that aims to mirror the lifestyle of the Moroccan community living in the Netherlands, reports NRC.
The sketch is starred by actresses of Moroccan descent such as Fadua El Akchaoui, Kyra Bououargane, Soumaya Ahouaoui and Khadija El Kharraz Alami. Furthermore, the sketch is written by the former Moroccan-Dutch parliamentarian Tofik Dibi.
The latter discusses in his sketch several minor themes such as Moroccan customs, marriage, the difference between Arab Moroccans and those of Berber origin.
The sketch also evokes the failure of integration, prostitution as well as the crime rate. The exclusively female troupe is touring the country until December 8th.
