Pan Islamic NGO the Muslim World League (MWL) will collaborate with Morocco’s Mohammadian League of Scholars to fight against extremism and enlighten Islamic speech, reported online newspaper the Arab News on Tuesday.

An agreement has been signed by the two bodies at the league’s headquarter in Rabat to share information, conduct joint scientific researches, and participate in panel discussions, cultural programs, conferences as well as joint training programs and workshops.

The two organizations will have to also set a joint program to work on. Their collaboration follows an MWL conference that was hosted in Rabat to deconstruct extremist discourse, says the same source.

«The conference discussed interventions on deconstructing the extremist discourse, the intellectual ideas of extremists and their rebuttal, sectarian extremism and strategies to prevent the spread of extremism», added the Saudi newspaper.
