Visiting the United Arab Emirates since Tuesday, King Mohammed VI went to the Nusr-ET Steakhouse restaurant in the Four Seasons Resort, owned by Turkish chef Salt Bae.

On his Twitter account the famous cook posted a photo he took with the Moroccan sovereign. «With King Mohammed VI, thank you for visiting me», wrote Salt Bae as a caption for his photo with the King.

Turkish chef Nusret Gökçe, aka Salt Bae, made headlines in January 2017 after his video went viral. He is known for his unique way of sprinkling salt : letting it to fall down on his forearm then spread on the meat.

He is a restaurateur who created a chain that has been growing since 2014, including a restaurant in Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Miami and New York and several ones in Turkey. Since 2017, Nusret Gökçe has become a friend of stars, such as Leonardo DiCaprio, DJ Khaled, Drake, and Michael Phelps.
