Four Moroccan sports journalists shortlisted for AIPS Sports Media Awards

Four Moroccan sports journalists were shortlisted, among the 10 finalists in Africa, for the first edition of the AIPS Sport Media Awards, based in Lausanne, Switzerland.

The selected Moroccan journalists are Amine Birouk (Radio Mars / audio category), Bouchaib Brhadda (Ritaj Press / video-documentary), Mohammed Benchrif (Moroccan Royal Federation of Sport for All / photography-portfolio) and Mohamed Fangar (Hesport / writing of the best column).

The publication of the names of the journalists nominated from each continent comes only 10 days ahead of the inaugural ceremony of the AIPS Sport Media Awards, on January 21 in Lausanne, said a statement from the organizers released on Friday.

The AIPS Sport Media Awards are the highest international accolade in the sport media industry. The Awards offer recognition to the very best sport storytellers across all media platforms, from photography to video, from print to digital, from podcasts to sports blogs.
