In its annual World Press Freedom Index, Reporters Without Borders criticized Morocco for the prosecutions brought against both journalists and citizen-journalists.
Morocco scored 45 points out of 100 in the new Freedom House report, Freedom on the Net. The survey highlighted the obstacles and restrictions that challenge internet users in the country.
For the latest edition of Reporters Without Borders annual report, 2017 saw a great deal of additional judicial harassment of journalists in Morocco. The latter‘s performance declined when compared to previous years.
