On February the 14th, Foreign Affairs Minister Nasser Bourita announced in a joint briefing with his Spanish counterpart that Morocco’s ambassador to Saudi Arabia Mustapha Mansouri returned to Riyadh.
On Monday, Mansouri was received by the Saudi State Minister for African Affairs Ahmed Kattan, who posted a photo from the meeting on his Twitter account.
This is the first official meeting between officials from Morocco and Saudi Arabia after Rabat denied having recalled its ambassador in the country.

«The meeting could have gone completely unnoticed, but the reports surrounding it made of it a sign from Saudis to turn the page on tensions with Morocco», a diplomatic source told Yabiladi on Tuesday.
