King Mohammed VI, accompanied by Crown Prince Moulay El Hassan, Prince Moulay Rachid and Princesses Lalla Meryem and Lalla Hasnaa, offered, on Monday at the Royal Residence in Sale, a tea ceremony in honor of Prince Harry, Duke of Sussex, and his spouse Meghan Markle, Duchess of Sussex, currently on a visit to the Kingdom.

On this occasion, the Duke of Sussex handed the King a written message from Queen Elizabeth II of the United Kingdom.

Earlier today, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle visited the Royal Moroccan Equestrian Club Dar Essalam, located in Rabat. Later in the Villa des Ambassadeurs, the royal couple met Chef Moha Fedal, who hosts the Moroccan version of Master Chef.

They also met a group of local children who take cooking classes in the facility, where they were presented with gifts. In Rabat, Harry and Meghan went to the walled public Andalusian Gardens in Rabat, to visit a social entrepreneurs’ market.

On Saturday, the royal couple headed south to meet girls at a boarding house in Asni, a small town near Marrakech, run by NGO Education for All. In Asni, Princess Meghan attended a henna ceremony and will meet alongside her husband local students and teachers, before attending a football match.

This will be the couple’s first visit to Morocco, after Harry’s father Prince Charles' trip to the Kingdom with his wife Camilla in 2011.

The royal couple were invited at the time by King Mohammed VI. During their stay in the Kingdom, Prince Charles visited Morocco’s National Library while the Duchess of Cornwall attended a fashion show.
