Morocco back to GMT on May 5, on holy month of Ramadan

On the occasion of the holy month of Ramadan, Morocco will go back to the Greenwich Mean Time (GMT) on Sunday, May 5, at 3.00 a.m., said the ministry of Administration and Public Service Reform.

The decision is in conformity with article 2 of decree n° 2.18.855 issued on Safar 16, 1440 hegira (Oct. 26, 2018) related to time changing, said the ministry in a statement.

After the month of Ramadan, the clock will be put forward one hour (GMT+1) on June 9, 2019 at 2 a.m., it added.
