Afcon 2019 : Morocco loses to Gambia 1-0 in Friendly

Morocco lost to Gambia 1-0 in a friendly match played, on Wednesday at the Grand Stadium of Marrakesh, as part of preparations for the 32nd edition of CAN, scheduled on June 21 to July 19 in Egypt.

The Gambian team has beaten the Atlas Lions by scoring the only goal of the game by Moussa Baro at the 27th minute, taking advantage of a mistake by Mbark Boussoufa and captain Mehdi Benatia.

In CAN-2019, the national team is in group (D) with Namibia, South Africa and Côte d'Ivoire.
