The 14th session of the European Union-Morocco Association Council will be held, Thursday, in Brussels. The meeting will be co-chaired by Foreign Affairs Minister Nasser Bourita and the High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Federica Mogherini.

During this meeting, the Association Council will be discussing the «reinvigoration of relations between the EU and Morocco», the Council of the European Union said in a communiqué.

«The Association Council will address the EU-Moroccan partnership's priorities and themes for 2019-2020 and the future of the bilateral relations, including aspects such as economic and trade relations and questions relating to mobility and migration», the same statement added.

For the record, experts from the Kingdom and the EU met on June 3 in Skhirat to prepare for the next meetings and discuss relations between the two parties. An informal meeting in this regard was attended by Nasser Bourita and his Spanish counterpart Josep Borrell.
