Morocco is planning to open a tender for operating and maintaining its 230-megawatt solar plant near Midelt, Reuters reported Wednesday, quoting the Moroccan agency for sustainable energy (Masen).
On its website, the agency said that the first stage of this tender was launched and that this pre-qualification round will last until September 16.
In May, 2019, Masen announced the bidder for Noor Midelt I, an 800 MW solar plant. The winning consortium is France’s EDF Renewables, UAE’s Masdar and Green Energy of Africa.
