Over 567,000 passengers made it to Morocco through the Tangier-Med port this summer

A total of 567,932 passengers crossed the northern port of Tangier-Med to enter Morocco since the beginning of the Marhaba operation 2019 on June 5 and until August 5, 2019, Tangier Med Port Authority said Tuesday.

During the last weekend (August 3-4), 61,197 passengers and 15,601 buses entered Morocco via Tangier-Med Port, the source pointed out in a statement.

The Marhaba operation is going smoothly thanks to efforts made by the different concerned departments, including the Mohammed V Foundation for Solidarity, the Royal Gendarmerie, National Police and the Customs services, according to the same source.
