While Bolivia announced, Monday, that it has decided to cut ties with «SADR», the Polisario Front has insisted on strengthening ties with Cuba.
On Monday, the separatist movement’s «embassy» in La Havana co-hosted an event with the Cuban Foreign Ministry to «commemorate the 40th anniversary» of its ties with the Latin American country, the Front’s new agency wrote.
The Cuban Foreign Minister Bruno Rodriguez Parilla and the Front’s «ambassador to La Havana Maa Al-Ain Atqana» attended the event, the same source added.
For the record, Morocco opened in June 2018 an embassy in La Havana. Meanwhile, Cuba appointed Elio Eduardo Rodriguez Perdomo as a non-resident Cuban ambassador to the Kingdom. In October 2019, Cuba announced that it plans to open an embassy in Rabat soon.
