The Moroccan evacuees from the Chinese city of Wuhan, hotbed of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19), completed on Saturday their 20-day quarantine at the Sidi Said hospital in Meknes and the Mohammed V military hospital in Rabat, said the Ministry of Health, adding that no case of the novel coronavirus was registered among them.

The repatriatation of 167 Moroccan nationals from Wuhan was carried out following the instructions of King Mohammed VI, the ministry pointed out, adding that the evacuees were under medical observation throughout their stay at the two hospitals and tested negative for the novel coronavirus.

The health ministry expressed its thanks to the evacuees and their families for their collaboration and their commitment, and congratulated all the executives, officials and civil and military medical teams, as well as the administrative staff that contributed into ensuring the success of this operation.
