Morocco's national carrier Royal Air Maroc (RAM) announced on Sunday that it is temporarily suspending its flights to Milan and Venice, following the Italian authorities' decision to quarantine these two cities.

Following the decision of the Italian authorities to quarantine Milan and Venice because of the coronavirus, Royal Air Maroc temporarily suspends its flights to these two Italian cities, RAM said in a statement.

The decision was implemented on Sunday, March 8, and flights will resume early April, the statement said.

For the record, two confirmed coronavirus cases were recorded last week in Morocco. The two patients, a man and a woman, were both in Italy before entering Morocco and showing the virus' symptoms.
