In a reassuring press release, the Moroccan Health Ministry announced that the two people infected with COVID-19 are in a «stable condition».

«The two cases are in a reassuring condition and do not suffer from any complications», Mohammed Elyoubi, the director of the Epidemiology and Disease Control Division at the Health Ministry, said in the same statement.

Morocco has recorded three confirmed coronavirus cases, including that of an 89-year-old woman who died Tuesday after she spent days in an intensive care unit.

The first case is that of a 39-year-old man who was infected after a trip to Italy. «He doesn’t show symptoms anymore but he will not leave the hospital until he undergoes all required tests», Lyoubi added.

As for the third case, announced today, the Ministry said that the man is a French tourist who was admitted in a hospital in Marrakech. His condition is also stable, according to the Health authorities.
