Coronavirus : Morocco's embassy in Germany sets up monitoring unit

The Moroccan embassy in Berlin announced on Tuesday the establishment of a monitoring and communication unit following the spread of the new coronavirus in Germany.

In a statement, the Embassy said it was closely following the developments linked to the increase in the number of confirmed cases of Coronavirus in Germany, one of the most hit European countries by the epidemic.

The embassy also said that it has provided for members of the Moroccan community established in Germany the following telephone number 016093853294 to monitor their health situation and offer them the necessary assistance and support if necessary.

It called on all members of the Moroccan community in Germany to take preventive measures to prevent the spread of the virus under directives issued by the authorities of the host country.

The Embassy reiterated that no case of coronavirus has been recorded among the Moroccan community in Germany.
