Morocco records 57 new confirmed coronavirus cases, 1,431 in total

57 confirmed coronavirus cases were recorded in the last 24 hours, bringing to 1,431 the total number of Covid-19 infections in Morocco, the Health Ministry said Friday.

As for the death toll, the Ministry said that in total 105 people died after contracting the virus in Morocco while 114 recovered.

The 1,431 cases were recorded in Casablanca-Settat (412), Marrakech-Safi (274) Rabat-Salé-Kenitra (216), Fes-Meknes (178), Tanger-Tetouan Al Hoceima (127), the Oriental region (87), Daraa-Tafilalet (67), Beni Mellal-Khenifra (41), Souss-Massa (22), Laayoune-Sakia El Hamra (4), Dakhla-Oued Ed Dahab (2) et Guelmim-Oued Noun (1).
