Coronavirus : 72 new confirmed cases in Morocco, 1,617 in total

Seventy-two new cases of infection with the new coronavirus (Covid-19) were confirmed in Morocco until Sunday at 10:00 am, bringing to 1,617 the total number of contamination cases, announced the Ministry of Health.

The number of recovered cases stood at 153 with the recovery of 7 new cases, while the death toll stood at 113, said the ministry on the website "www.covidmaroc.ma".

The number of cases excluded after negative test results amounted to 6,856, said the same source.

The ministry invites citizens to respect the rules of hygiene and health security as well as the preventive measures taken by the Moroccan authorities by showing responsibility and patriotism.
