37 new confirmed coronavirus cases were recorded in Morocco between Tuesday evening and Wednesday morning, bringing the total number of covid-19 infections in the kingdom to 4,289, the Health Ministry announced in a recent update.
The Ministry indicated that the total number of recovered Covid-19 patients stands at 890, while 167 people have died from coronavirus complications since the start of the outbreak.
The suspected cases excluded following negative tests are 27,787, the source adds.
The confirmed coronavirus cases are located as follows : 1088 in Casablanca-Settat, 923 in Marrakech-Safi, 554 in Tangier-Tetouan-Al Hoceima, 535 in Fes-Meknes, 535 in Daraa-Tafilalet, 314 in Rabat-Sale-Kenitra, 175 in the Oriental region, 80 in Beni Mellal-Khenifra, 50 in Souss-Massa, 29 in Guelmim-Oued Noun, 4 in Laayoune-Sakia El Hamra and 2 in Dakhla-Oued Ed Dahab.
