Morocco records 44 new coronavirus cases, 7,910 in total

44 new confirmed coronavirus cases were recorded between Tuesday afternoon and Wednesday morning in Morocco, bringing the total number of Covid-19 infections in the country to 7,910, the health Ministry announced.

In a recent update, the Ministry reported that 235,362 suspected cases have tested negative for the virus so far. While deaths related to the coronavirus stand at 206, the number of Covid-19 patients who recovered in the Kingdom has reached 6,643.

The confirmed coronavirus cases in the Kingdom are located as follows : 33.87% in Casablanca-Settat, 17.22% in Marrakech-Safi, 14.22% in Tangier-Tetouan-Al Hoceima, 12.65% in Fez-Meknes, 7.41% in Daraa-Tafilalet, 8.93% in Rabat-Salé-Kenitra, 2.36% in the Oriental region, 1.52% in Beni-Mellal-Khenifra, 1.13% in Souss Massa, 0.57% in Guelmim-Oued Noun, 0.06% in Laayoune-Sakia-El Hamra, 0.06 in Dakhla-Oued Ed Dahab.
