Coronavirus : 42 new confirmed cases in Morocco, 8,734 in total

Forty-two (42) new cases of infection with the new coronavirus (Covid-19) were confirmed in Morocco until Sunday at 10:00 am, bringing to 8,734 the total number of contamination cases, the Ministry of Health announced.

The number of cured cases stands at 7,725 with 29 new recoveries, while that of deaths stands at 212 cases, the ministry said on the portal covidmaroc.ma.

In addition, the number of cases excluded after negative test results amounted to 398,260 according to the same source.

The ministry invites citizens to respect the rules of hygiene and health security, as well as the preventive measures taken by the Moroccan authorities by showing responsibility and patriotism.
