Moroccans stranded in Ethiopia due to the coronavirus heath crisis will be able to return home starting from Thursday evening.
The first group among the 31 Moroccan nationals, stranded for almost four months in Ethiopia, received the negative results of PCR and antibody tests, required before boarding a flight to Istanbul, from where they will return to Morocco via a Royal air Maroc (RAM) flight.
The Moroccan Ambassador to Ethiopia and Djibouti, Nezha Alaoui M'Hamdi, who met Moroccan nationals on Wednesday evening before their departure, recalled the actions undertaken by the diplomatic representation in their favor, since the closure of borders.
In addition to accommodating a group of 31 Moroccan nationals in a hotel in the capital, the Moroccan mission in the east African country supported them during their stay.
