Moroccan professional footballer Walid Azaro has been blacklisted by Saudi club Al-Ettifaq, the Saudi Football Federation (SFF) announced on Sunday.
According to Futaa, the Al Ahly former forward was blacklisted after he unilaterally decided to leave the Saudi side before the current Saudi Professional League season ends. The player refused a loan extension at the Saudi club and said that he wants to return to Al Ahly.
Because of said decision, Azaro will not be able to join other clubs across Saudi Arabia in the upcoming seasons.
For the record, Azaro joined Al-Ettifaq in January. He scored three goals with the club during his seven appearances.
