The 3.4 billion dirhams project, which includes a LEAP engine maintenance and assembly plant creating 900 jobs, cements Morocco’s status as a leading aerospace hub hosting 150 companies and generating 26.6 billion dirhams in annual revenue.
In his speech at the opening of the parliamentary session, King Mohammed VI emphasized the importance of continuing legislative reforms. He underlined the need to improve the education and healthcare sectors, while accelerating territorial development with particular attention to mountain regions and oases.

In Spain, the host of the YouTube channel Salem Maataoui TV is facing multiple complaints. The most recent was filed on September 26, 2025, in Almería, where a Moroccan national reported being the victim of «fraud» that he says also affected his relatives. Another complainant, who is physically and mentally disabled, claims to have invested over one million euros. The accused, however, denies any wrongdoing.
