Morocco’s former Foreign Minister Salaheddine Mezouar resigned from his position as head of the General Confederation of Morocco’s Enterprises. His decision was announced, Sunday, after a Foreign Ministry statement addressed his «irresponsible» comments on political development in Algeria.
Invited by the General Confederation of Moroccan Entreprises (CGEM), a Finnish delegation headed by the Minister of Environment conducted a conference, Thursday, in Casablanca with the objective of helping the Moroccan private sector benefit from the country's clean and green technologies.
The process of floating the national currency has not been finalized yet. The central bank is still obligated to set a fluctuation band that would tie the value of the dirham through a managed float highly suggested by the International Monetary Fund. Announced as a potential 5% fluctuation band by the Head of the government, the CGEM alongside the GPBM both deem it higher than they had expected.
