Low rainfall amounts are expected to affect wheat production in 2019 in Morocco. According to forecasts published by the UN Food and Agriculture Organization, this trend would increase the country’s wheat imports.

Although Morocco managed to make progress in the United Nations Food and Security report, the number of people suffering from undernourishment in the country remains high.
