At the beginning of 1937, France knew about German ambitions in Morocco, and moved diplomatically to prevent Berlin from sending 3,000 soldiers to Ceuta, and asked Britain to support it militarily, in the face of Germany, supported by Spain and Italy.
Through politics and community work, Moroccan academic Jamal Boussif, who lives in Strasbourg, campaigns for the rights of migrants in general and Moroccans in particular. He also works to defend his homeland and its national cause.
While nothing destined him to the film industry, Mohamed Khouna has become, over the last twenty years, the designated service provider for the giants of the seventh art as well as independent creators, distributing their films to movie theaters throughout France. Since 2019, he has brought expertise to Morocco, where he is keen to pass on his skills, with the ambition of helping boost the sector.
The French government is finding it increasingly difficult to accept the decision of the presidential party. At the National Assembly on Tuesday, the French Secretary of State for European Affairs said he «regretted» the opening of an LREM branch in Dakhla, while reaffirming France's support to the UN process.
