The World Bank has made it clear through its latest reports on Morocco that education is an investment in human capital which guarantees higher productivity and combats poverty. The international financial institution believes that pre-education is a primordial step that the Kingdom should develop and assist.
Having access to drinking water and basic sanitation is the challenge discussed in the annual report «Progress on Drinking Water, Sanitation and Hygiene» issued by the United Nations Children Fund (UNICEF) on the «Stockholm World Water Week» (27th of August-1 September). For Morocco, the gap between urban and rural sanitation is wide.
