For years, many Moroccan women with curly hair grew up hearing the same comments: their natural curls were messy, difficult, or simply «not beautiful». Today, more are reclaiming their natural hair, challenging long-held beauty standards and encouraging others to embrace their curls.
The confidence of Moroccan households showed a slight improvement in the first quarter of 2025, according to the results of an ongoing survey on household conditions conducted by the High Commission for Planning. However, despite this uptick, the overall indicators still reflect a persistent negative outlook on economic and social conditions.
Morocco has scored 81 points in the 2018 Global Law and Order index conducted by Gallup. Based on four main questions about security and safety, the report interviewed 148,000 citizens from 142 countries in 2017.
