The confidence of Moroccan households showed a slight improvement in the first quarter of 2025, according to the results of an ongoing survey on household conditions conducted by the High Commission for Planning. However, despite this uptick, the overall indicators still reflect a persistent negative outlook on economic and social conditions.
From November to December 2022, the High Commission for Planning (HCP) and the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) jointly conducted a study on the socioeconomic situation of refugees in Morocco, based on a sample of 600 refugee households. The study, published a year and a half later, provides an overview of their living conditions, economic integration, access to social services, and daily challenges.
