12.81.ارْجِعُواْ إِلَى أَبِيكُمْ فَقُولُواْ يَا أَبَانَا إِنَّ ابْنَكَ سَرَقَ وَمَا شَهِدْنَا إِلاَّ بِمَا عَلِمْنَا وَمَا كُنَّا لِلْغَيْبِ حَافِظِينَ
12.81. Retournez chez votre père et dites-lui : “Ô père ! Ton fils a réellement volé ! Nous ne te rapportons que ce dont nous avons été témoins, sans pouvoir répondre de ce qui a pu nous échapper.
12.81 . Return unto your father and say : O our father! Lo! thy son hath stolen . We testify only to that which we know ; we are not guardians of the unseen .
12.81. IrjiAAoo ila abeekum faqooloo ya abana inna ibnaka saraqa wama shahidna illa bima AAalimna wama kunna lilghaybi hafitheena
12.82.وَاسْأَلِ الْقَرْيَةَ الَّتِي كُنَّا فِيهَا وَالْعِيْرَ الَّتِي أَقْبَلْنَا فِيهَا وَإِنَّا لَصَادِقُونَ
12.82. Interroge la ville où nous étions, ainsi que la caravane dans laquelle nous sommes arrivés. Tous te confirmeront que ce que nous disons est la vérité.”«
12.82 . Ask the township where we were , and the caravan with which we travelled hither . Lo! we speak the truth .
12.82. Wais-ali alqaryata allatee kunna feeha waalAAeera allatee aqbalna feeha wa-inna lasadiqoona
12.83.قَالَ بَلْ سَوَّلَتْ لَكُمْ أَنفُسُكُمْ أَمْراً فَصَبْرٌ جَمِيلٌ عَسَى اللّهُ أَن يَأْتِيَنِي بِهِمْ جَمِيعاً إِنَّهُ هُوَ الْعَلِيمُ الْحَكِيمُ
12.83. «C'est là, leur dit Jacob, un autre mauvais coup que vous avez monté vous-mêmes, et je n'ai plus qu'à me résigner , peut-être que Dieu me les rendra tous les deux, car Il est Omniscient et Sage.»
12.83 . ( And when they came unto their father and had spoken thus to him ) he said : Nay , but your minds have beguiled you into something . ( My course is ) comely patience! It may be that Allah will bring them all unto me . Lo! He , only He , is the Knower , the Wise .
12.83. Qala bal sawwalat lakum anfusukum amran fasabrun jameelun AAasa Allahu an ya/tiyanee bihim jameeAAan innahu huwa alAAaleemu alhakeemu
12.84.وَتَوَلَّى عَنْهُمْ وَقَالَ يَا أَسَفَى عَلَى يُوسُفَ وَابْيَضَّتْ عَيْنَاهُ مِنَ الْحُزْنِ فَهُوَ كَظِيمٌ
12.84. Et il leur tourna le dos, en soupirant : «Que ma peine est grande pour Joseph !» Et ses yeux devinrent aveugles par suite de son affliction, car il avait de la peine à contenir sa douleur.
12.84 . And he turned away from them and said : Alas , my grief for Joseph! And his eyes were whitened with the sorrow that he was suppressing .
12.84. Watawalla AAanhum waqala ya asafa AAala yoosufa waibyaddat AAaynahu mina alhuzni fahuwa katheemun
12.85.قَالُواْ تَالله تَفْتَأُ تَذْكُرُ يُوسُفَ حَتَّى تَكُونَ حَرَضاً أَوْ تَكُونَ مِنَ الْهَالِكِينَ
12.85. «Par Dieu, lui dirent ses enfants, tu ne cesseras donc jamais d'évoquer le souvenir de Joseph, jusqu'à en dépérir ou en mourir.»
12.85 . They said : By Allah , thou wilt never cease remembering Joseph till thy health is ruined or thou art of those who perish!
12.85. Qaloo taAllahi taftao tathkuru yoosufa hatta takoona haradan aw takoona mina alhalikeena
