18.56.وَمَا نُرْسِلُ الْمُرْسَلِينَ إِلَّا مُبَشِّرِينَ وَمُنذِرِينَ وَيُجَادِلُ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا بِالْبَاطِلِ لِيُدْحِضُوا بِهِ الْحَقَّ وَاتَّخَذُوا آيَاتِي وَمَا أُنذِرُوا هُزُواً

18.56. Nous n'envoyons les prophètes que pour annoncer la bonne nouvelle et avertir, pendant que les négateurs s'emploient à combattre la Vérité avec de faux arguments et à tourner en dérision Nos signes et Nos avertissements.

18.56 . We send not the messengers save as bearers of good news and warners . Those who disbelieve contend with falsehood in order to refute the Truth thereby . And they take Our revelations and that wherewith they are threatened as a jest

18.56. Wama nursilu almursaleena illa mubashshireena wamunthireena wayujadilu allatheena kafaroo bialbatili liyudhidoo bihi alhaqqa waittakhathoo ayatee wama onthiroo huzuwan

18.57.وَمَنْ أَظْلَمُ مِمَّن ذُكِّرَ بِآيَاتِ رَبِّهِ فَأَعْرَضَ عَنْهَا وَنَسِيَ مَا قَدَّمَتْ يَدَاهُ إِنَّا جَعَلْنَا عَلَى قُلُوبِهِمْ أَكِنَّةً أَن يَفْقَهُوهُ وَفِي آذَانِهِمْ وَقْراً وَإِن تَدْعُهُمْ إِلَى الْهُدَى فَلَن يَهْتَدُوا إِذاً أَبَداً

18.57. Qui est plus injuste que celui qui tourne le dos aux signes de son Seigneur, quand ils lui sont rappelés, et qui va même jusqu'à oublier ses propres péchés? Nous avons placé des voiles épais sur leurs cœurs pour les empêcher de comprendre, et Nous les avons rendus durs d'oreille, si bien que tu auras beau les appeler à la bonne voie, jamais ils ne sauront se guider.

18.57 . And who doth greater wrong than he who hath been reminded of the revelations of his Lord , yet turneth away from them and forgetteth what his hands send forward ( to the Judgment ) ? Lo! on their hearts We have placed coverings so that they understand not , and in their ears a deafness . And though thou call them to the guidance , in that case they can never be led aright .

18.57. Waman athlamu mimman thukkira bi-ayati rabbihi faaAArada AAanha wanasiya ma qaddamat yadahu inna jaAAalna AAala quloobihim akinnatan an yafqahoohu wafee athanihim waqran wa-in tadAAuhum ila alhuda falan yahtadoo ithan abadan

18.58.وَرَبُّكَ الْغَفُورُ ذُو الرَّحْمَةِ لَوْ يُؤَاخِذُهُم بِمَا كَسَبُوا لَعَجَّلَ لَهُمُ الْعَذَابَ بَل لَّهُم مَّوْعِدٌ لَّن يَجِدُوا مِن دُونِهِ مَوْئِلاً

18.58. Et si ton Seigneur, l'Indulgent, le Clément, voulait les punir selon leurs œuvres, Il hâterait certainement leur châtiment. Mais un rendez-vous, pour cela, leur a été fixé et ils ne trouveront aucun moyen pour s'y soustraire.

18.58 . Thy Lord is the Forgiver , Full of Mercy . If He took them to task ( now ) for what they earn , He would hasten on the doom for them ; but their is an appointed term from which they will find no escape

18.58. Warabbuka alghafooru thoo alrrahmati law yu-akhithuhum bima kasaboo laAAajjala lahumu alAAathaba bal lahum mawAAidun lan yajidoo min doonihi maw-ilan

18.59.وَتِلْكَ الْقُرَى أَهْلَكْنَاهُمْ لَمَّا ظَلَمُوا وَجَعَلْنَا لِمَهْلِكِهِم مَّوْعِداً

18.59. Rappelle-toi ces cités que Nous avons anéanties en raison de leurs iniquités, après avoir fixé le moment de leur destruction !

18.59 . And ( all ) those townships! We destroyed them when they did wrong , and We appointed a fixed time for their destruction .

18.59. Watilka alqura ahlaknahum lamma thalamoo wajaAAalna limahlikihim mawAAidan

18.60.وَإِذْ قَالَ مُوسَى لِفَتَاهُ لَا أَبْرَحُ حَتَّى أَبْلُغَ مَجْمَعَ الْبَحْرَيْنِ أَوْ أَمْضِيَ حُقُباً

18.60. Rappelle-toi quand Moïse dit à son valet : «Je ne cesserai de marcher que lorsque j'aurai atteint le confluent des deux mers, dussé-je y mettre des années !»

18.60 . And when Moses said unto his servant : I will not give up until I reach the point where the two rivers meet , though I march on for ages .

18.60. Wa-ith qala moosa lifatahu la abrahu hatta ablugha majmaAAa albahrayni aw amdiya huquban
