18.96.آتُونِي زُبَرَ الْحَدِيدِ حَتَّى إِذَا سَاوَى بَيْنَ الصَّدَفَيْنِ قَالَ انفُخُوا حَتَّى إِذَا جَعَلَهُ نَاراً قَالَ آتُونِي أُفْرِغْ عَلَيْهِ قِطْراً

18.96. Apportez-moi des blocs de fer.» Puis, quand il en eut comblé l'espace compris entre les deux monts, il ajouta : «Soufflez !» Et quand le métal fut fondu, il ordonna : «Versez maintenant, par-dessus, de l'airain en fusion.»

18.96 . Give me pieces of iron till , when he had levelled up ( the gap ) between the cliffs , he said : Blow! till , when he had made it a fire , he said : Bring me molten copper to pour thereon .

18.96. Atoonee zubara alhadeedi hatta itha sawa bayna alsadafayni qala onfukhoo hatta itha jaAAalahu naran qala atoonee ofrigh AAalayhi qitran

18.97.فَمَا اسْطَاعُوا أَن يَظْهَرُوهُ وَمَا اسْتَطَاعُوا لَهُ نَقْباً

18.97. Depuis lors, les Yâjûj et les Mâjûj ne purent plus ni escalader l'obstacle ni le transpercer.

18.97 . And ( Gog and Magog ) were not able to surmount , nor could they pierce ( it ) .

18.97. Fama istaAAoo an yathharoohu wama istataAAoo lahu naqban

18.98.قَالَ هَذَا رَحْمَةٌ مِّن رَّبِّي فَإِذَا جَاء وَعْدُ رَبِّي جَعَلَهُ دَكَّاء وَكَانَ وَعْدُ رَبِّي حَقّاً

18.98. «Cet obstacle, dit-il, est une miséricorde émanant de mon Seigneur. Mais, quand Dieu accomplira Sa promesse, Il le réduira en poussière, car la promesse de Dieu est infaillible.»

18.98 . He said : This is a mercy from my Lord ; but when the promise of my Lord cometh to pass , He will lay it low , for the promise of my Lord is true .

18.98. Qala hatha rahmatun min rabbee fa-itha jaa waAAdu rabbee jaAAalahu dakkaa wakana waAAdu rabbee haqqan

18.99.وَتَرَكْنَا بَعْضَهُمْ يَوْمَئِذٍ يَمُوجُ فِي بَعْضٍ وَنُفِخَ فِي الصُّورِ فَجَمَعْنَاهُمْ جَمْعاً

18.99. Ce jour-là, Nous laisserons les hommes déferler les uns sur les autres. Puis la Trompette sonnera et ils seront tous rassemblés.

18.99 . And on that day We shall let some of them surge against others , and the Trumpet will be blown . Then We shall gather them together in one gathering .

18.99. Watarakna baAAdahum yawma-ithin yamooju fee baAAdin wanufikha fee alssoori fajamaAAnahum jamAAan

18.100.وَعَرَضْنَا جَهَنَّمَ يَوْمَئِذٍ لِّلْكَافِرِينَ عَرْضاً

18.100. Et ce jour-là, la Géhenne, dans toute son horreur, sera présentée aux négateurs,

18.100 . On that day We shall present hell to the disbelievers , plain to view ,
