21.36.وَإِذَا رَآكَ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا إِن يَتَّخِذُونَكَ إِلَّا هُزُواً أَهَذَا الَّذِي يَذْكُرُ آلِهَتَكُمْ وَهُم بِذِكْرِ الرَّحْمَنِ هُمْ كَافِرُونَ

21.36. Dès que les infidèles t'aperçoivent, ils s'empressent de te tourner en dérision : «Est-ce cet homme-là qui médit de vos divinités?», alors qu'ils nient, eux, tout rappel du Tout-Clément.

21.36 . And when those who disbelieve behold thee , they but choose thee out for mockery , ( saying ) : Is this he who maketh mention of your gods? And they would deny all mention of the Beneficent .

21.36. Wa-itha raaka allatheena kafaroo in yattakhithoonaka illa huzuwan ahatha allathee yathkuru alihatakum wahum bithikri alrrahmani hum kafiroona

21.37.خُلِقَ الْإِنسَانُ مِنْ عَجَلٍ سَأُرِيكُمْ آيَاتِي فَلَا تَسْتَعْجِلُونِ

21.37. L'homme a été créé impatient par nature. Je vous montrerai le moment venu Mes signes. Modérez donc votre impatience !

21.37 . Man is made of haste . I shall show you My portents , but ask Me not to hasten .

21.37. Khuliqa al-insanu min AAajalin saoreekum ayatee fala tastaAAjiloona

21.38.وَيَقُولُونَ مَتَى هَذَا الْوَعْدُ إِن كُنتُمْ صَادِقِينَ

21.38. «À quand cette menace, insistent-ils, si vous êtes sincères?»

21.38 . And they say : When will this promise ( be fulfilled ) , if ye are truthful?

21.38. Wayaqooloona mata hatha alwaAAdu in kuntum sadiqeena

21.39.لَوْ يَعْلَمُ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا حِينَ لَا يَكُفُّونَ عَن وُجُوهِهِمُ النَّارَ وَلَا عَن ظُهُورِهِمْ وَلَا هُمْ يُنصَرُونَ

21.39. Ah ! Si les négateurs pouvaient entrevoir le moment où ils ne pourront plus protéger ni leurs visages ni leurs dos des flammes de l'Enfer, et où ils seront privés de tout secours !

21.39 . If those who disbelieved but knew the time when they will not be able to drive off the fire from their faces and from their backs , and they will not be helped!

21.39. Law yaAAlamu allatheena kafaroo heena la yakuffoona AAan wujoohihimu alnnara wala AAan thuhoorihim wala hum yunsaroona

21.40.بَلْ تَأْتِيهِم بَغْتَةً فَتَبْهَتُهُمْ فَلَا يَسْتَطِيعُونَ رَدَّهَا وَلَا هُمْ يُنظَرُونَ

21.40. L'Heure les saisira à l'improviste et les plongera dans la stupeur, sans qu'ils puissent l'éloigner ou en obtenir le report.

21.40 . Nay , but it will come upon them unawares so that it will stupefy them , and they will be unable to repel it , neither will they be reprieved .

21.40. Bal ta/teehim baghtatan fatabhatuhum fala yastateeAAoona raddaha wala hum yuntharoona
