23.31.ثُمَّ أَنشَأْنَا مِن بَعْدِهِمْ قَرْناً آخَرِينَ

23.31. Nous avons créé, après eux, d'autres générations

23.31 . Then , after them , We brought forth another generation ;

23.31. Thumma ansha/na min baAAdihim qarnan akhareena

23.32.فَأَرْسَلْنَا فِيهِمْ رَسُولاً مِنْهُمْ أَنِ اعْبُدُوا اللَّهَ مَا لَكُم مِّنْ إِلَهٍ غَيْرُهُ أَفَلَا تَتَّقُونَ

23.32. auxquelles Nous avons envoyé un messager issu d'elles-mêmes pour leur dire : «Adorez Dieu ! Vous n'avez d'autre divinité que Lui ! Ne Le craignez-vous donc point?»

23.32 . And We sent among them a messenger of their own saying : Serve Allah . Ye have no other god save Him . Will ye not warn off ( evil ) ?

23.32. Faarsalna feehim rasoolan minhum ani oAAbudoo Allaha ma lakum min ilahin ghayruhu afala tattaqoona

23.33.وَقَالَ الْمَلَأُ مِن قَوْمِهِ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا وَكَذَّبُوا بِلِقَاء الْآخِرَةِ وَأَتْرَفْنَاهُمْ فِي الْحَيَاةِ الدُّنْيَا مَا هَذَا إِلَّا بَشَرٌ مِّثْلُكُمْ يَأْكُلُ مِمَّا تَأْكُلُونَ مِنْهُ وَيَشْرَبُ مِمَّا تَشْرَبُونَ

23.33. Mais les notables de son peuple qui étaient sans foi, qui ne croyaient pas à la vie future et que Nous avions pourtant comblés de richesses dans ce bas monde, s'écrièrent : «Qui donc est cet homme, sinon un mortel comme vous? Il mange de ce que vous mangez et boit de ce que vous buvez.

23.33 . And the chieftains of his folk , who disbelieved and denied the meeting of the Hereafter , and whom We had made soft in the life of the world , said : This is only a mortal like you , who eateth of that whereof ye eat and drinketh of that ye drink .

23.33. Waqala almalao min qawmihi allatheena kafaroo wakaththaboo biliqa-i al-akhirati waatrafnahum fee alhayati alddunya ma hatha illa basharun mithlukum ya/kulu mimma ta/kuloona minhu wayashrabu mimma tashraboona

23.34.وَلَئِنْ أَطَعْتُم بَشَراً مِثْلَكُمْ إِنَّكُمْ إِذاً لَّخَاسِرُونَ

23.34. Si vous obéissez à un homme comme vous, vous serez du nombre des perdants, à coup sûr.

23.34 . If ye were to obey a mortal like yourselves , ye surely would be losers .

23.34. Wala-in ataAAtum basharan mithlakum innakum ithan lakhasiroona

23.35.أَيَعِدُكُمْ أَنَّكُمْ إِذَا مِتُّمْ وَكُنتُمْ تُرَاباً وَعِظَاماً أَنَّكُم مُّخْرَجُونَ

23.35. «Vous promet-il qu'une fois morts et réduits en os et en poussière vous serez de nouveau rendus à la vie?

23.35 . Doth he promise you that you , when ye are dead and have become dust and bones , will ( again ) be brought forth?

23.35. AyaAAidukum annakum itha mittum wakuntum turaban waAAithaman annakum mukhrajoona
