26.201.لَا يُؤْمِنُونَ بِهِ حَتَّى يَرَوُا الْعَذَابَ الْأَلِيمَ

26.201. Certes, ils n'y croiront pas tant qu'ils ne seront pas en face du châtiment douloureux qui les attend,

26.201 . They will not believe in it till they behold the painful doom ,

26.201. La yu/minoona bihi hatta yarawoo alAAathaba al-aleema

26.202.فَيَأْتِيَهُم بَغْتَةً وَهُمْ لَا يَشْعُرُونَ

26.202. et qui fondra sur eux à l'improviste au moment où ils s'y attendront le moins.

26.202 . So that it will come upon them suddenly , when they perceive not .

26.202. Faya/tiyahum baghtatan wahum la yashAAuroona

26.203.فَيَقُولُوا هَلْ نَحْنُ مُنظَرُونَ

26.203. Alors ils s'écrieront :» Pouvons-nous bénéficier d'un délai?»

26.203 . Then they will say : Are we to be reprieved?

26.203. Fayaqooloo hal nahnu muntharoona

26.204.أَفَبِعَذَابِنَا يَسْتَعْجِلُونَ

26.204. Comment donc? Ne sont-ils plus si pressés de voir arriver Notre supplice?

26.204 . Would they ( now ) hasten on Our doom?

26.204. AfabiAAathabina yastaAAjiloona

26.205.أَفَرَأَيْتَ إِن مَّتَّعْنَاهُمْ سِنِينَ

26.205. En admettant que Nous leur permettions de jouir de la vie terrestre quelques années encore,

26.205 . Hast thou then seen , We content them for ( long ) years ,
