26.206.ثُمَّ جَاءهُم مَّا كَانُوا يُوعَدُونَ

26.206. et qu'ensuite le châtiment qu'on leur avait annoncé viendrait les surprendre,

26.206 . And then cometh that which they were promised ,

26.206. Thumma jaahum ma kanoo yooAAadoona

26.207.مَا أَغْنَى عَنْهُم مَّا كَانُوا يُمَتَّعُونَ

26.207. à quoi leur aurait servi cette jouissance éphémère?

26.207 . ( How ) that wherewith they were contented naught availeth them?

26.207. Ma aghna AAanhum ma kanoo yumattaAAoona

26.208.وَمَا أَهْلَكْنَا مِن قَرْيَةٍ إِلَّا لَهَا مُنذِرُونَ

26.208. Nous n'avons jamais détruit une cité sans l'avoir auparavant suffisamment avertie,

26.208 . And We destroyed no township but it had its warners

26.208. Wama ahlakna min qaryatin illa laha munthiroona

26.209.ذِكْرَى وَمَا كُنَّا ظَالِمِينَ

26.209. et rappelée à l'ordre, car Nous n'avons jamais sévi injustement.

26.209 . For reminder , for We never were oppressors .

26.209. Thikra wama kunna thalimeena

26.210.وَمَا تَنَزَّلَتْ بِهِ الشَّيَاطِينُ

26.210. Non, cette révélation n'a point été transmise par les démons.

26.210 . The devils did not bring it down .

26.210. Wama tanazzalat bihi alshshayateenu
